NATURE CONSERVATION ACTIVITIES FOR RESIDENTS
There are "Celebrate Spring" nature and wildlife themed activities for children run by Essex Wildlife Trust at Bedfords Park on Thursday 12th April 10am to midday. The cost is £5 per child. Booking and prepayment are essential on 01708 748646. There will be a guided Bluebell Walk around the park on Sunday 29th April 1.30pm-3.30pm. Again the cost is £5 per person and pre-booking and pre-payment are essential on the above number. Thames Chase Community Forest on the edge of Upminster offer a wide variety of arts and environmental activities for all. RSPB Rainham Marshes offer nature trails, bird watching facilities and activities for all ages as well as fine views of the Thames and the City of London.
