Repairs to pavements and roads

PAVEMENTS AND ROADS

The Council will be carrying out pavement repairs in the following roads in the current financial year; King Edward Road, Hearn Road, Alexandra Road, Eastern Road (outside Ring Road), Kingston Road, Errol Road, Gilbert Road, South Street (between Dymoke Road and Melton Gardens), Park Lane (outside shops and school). There will also be road surface repairs in King Edward Road, Eastern Road (outside Ring Road) and South Street (Dymoke Road to Melton Gardens). The Council has raised 27 works orders for footpaths and potholes in Carlton Road after we were contacted by a resident. The mini “crater” at the junction of Repton Avenue and Repton Gardens has been repaired. We have reported a hole in the pavement in North Street underpass and a pothole in Globe Road near the junction with Hillcrest Road. A pothole inBrentwood Road near the entry to Tolbut Court has been repaired.
