On Friday 3 July Havering Council will be recruiting foster carers at Queen's Hospital for the first time.
Members of the fostering team will be in the hospital foyer from 9:30am to 5pm, telling people all about the rewards and challenges of fostering.
With around 250 children and young people in care at any time, the Council is always on the look-out for more dedicated local people to become foster carers.
All anyone needs to be a foster carer is the space and time in their life for a child. All foster carers in Havering receive full training and ongoing support from the Council.
