LODGE FARM PARK
Lodge Farm Park has also retained its prestigious "Green Flag" for environmental excellence again this year. The park is an important part of a "nature corridor" of parks linking Romford to the rich natural environment around its suburbs and is managed to enhance this role. The Council works with Friends of Raphael and Lodge Farm Parks to maintain excellence at the park.
ST. EDWARD’S CHURCHYARD
Working with St. Edward’s C. of E. Church, improvements are to be made to the churchyard to improve nature conservation and green space in the centre of Romford and to improve the setting and visual appeal of the Grade II* listed church in Romford Conservation Area.
BEDFORDS PARK
Further improvements are to be made to improve nature conservation, plant-growing,pathways, the environment and disabled access at Bedfords Park. The work is to be funded by the National Lottery and Veolia Havering Riverside Trust. the Council works with Friends of Bedfords Park and Essex Wildlife Trust at the site.
