Young girls developing diabetes





The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health's National Paediatric and Diabetes Audit report that girls aged five to nine are developing type-2 diabetes. The development over the past two decades is put down to obesity, sugary diets and lack of exercise. Before 2000, there had been no recorded cases in under-18s.
