HELP NATURE IN ROMFORD
The RSPB has produced a guide to how we can turn our gardens in to havens for wildlife to be enjoyed all year round. It is available on their website at http://www.rspb.olrg.uk/hfw.
NATURE CONSERVATION IN HAVERING
Havering won the Biodiversity category in the annual London in Bloom competition this year, for the work that the Council and partners do throughout the borough to promote nature conservation. The judges noted that in Havering "biodiversity is a consideration in everything that takes place, innovation is used in many schemes and the valuable natural assets are recognised". Many congratulations and thanks to staff across the Council and members of Friends of Parks groups, allotment societies and others on this excellent work.
