Travel hotspots and disruptionCentral London will be busy with the men's 10km Marathon Swimming taking place in Hyde Park in the afternoon. The Jubilee line and DLR are expected to be exceptionally busy in the evening. Spectators will be leaving Wembley Arena and heading into London in the evening peak. Games events will be taking place across London at the following venues and will therefore be busy: Olympic Park: Stadium, Aquatics Centre, Basketball Arena, Riverbank Arena, Water Polo Arena, BMX Track. River Area: ExCeL, North Greenwich Arena. Central London: Hyde Park, Earl's Court. Other: Wembley Arena. · The public transport network is expected to be at its busiest between 4.30pm-7pm and after 9pm tonight.· The road network in London is expected to be busy today with the Olympic Route Network (ORN) serving venues across London. · Hadleigh Farm is hosting the Olympic Mountain Bike events on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 August - the ORN will therefore be in operation on the A13. Please note, as and when Games venues are no longer required, work to remove the ORN route to those venues will begin. · Paralympic Games travel alerts: TFL will start sending daily travel advice for the Paralympics on Wednesday 29 August if you have signed up for the email travel alert. Whilst most of the Paralympic venues are in East London, there will still be an impact on London’s transport network, particularly when the schools go back.
